15:5. ರಾಜನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗ ಪೀಡಿತನಾಗುವಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವವರೆಗೂ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದನು. ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ರಾಜನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾವುನು ರಾಜನ ಅರಮನೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು ಮತ್ತು ಜನರನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

15:5. ಕರ್ತನು ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಜೀವದಿಂದಿರು ವರೆಗೂ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅರಸನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಮನೆ ಯಜಮಾನನಾಗಿದ್ದು ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

15:5. The LORD afflicted the king with an illness; he suffered from a skin disease until the day he died. He lived in separate quarters, while his son Jotham was in charge of the palace and ruled over the people of the land.
